Hello! The holidays are in full swing, with events and happenings and markets at every turn. Our shortlist will give you fun and focus. Apparently we're obsessed with hot chocolate right now...
Psst... we’re launching Here. t-shirts in next week’s newsletter. For a first look at the design, follow us on Instagram!

& Bright
To view holiday lights, there are tacky lights tours or you could crawl down the right lane of Monument. However you do it, ultimately we’re all looking for the most lights.
That’s why we like the Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights at Lewis Ginter. Their gardens will be frosted with half a million lights through January 8. (We’ll spend the majority of the walk contemplating how on earth they execute this.) Date night or family fun, hot chocolate at the Tea Room is a winner. Buy tickets online to skip the line at the door.

Market
This weekend, Southern Grade comes back to Richmond! The traveling marketplace has a distinct GQ vibe and features a custom mix of local and visiting US-made brands. On their last visit, they were Northern Grade - we dig the new tailoring.
We’ve seen the vendor list; it’s very good - and much too long to share. Highlights: Blanc Creatives, Yesterday’s Heroes, Throne Watches, Shine Craft Vessel Co., more. Plus, many beverages. We see it as a nice midday hang, plus efficient, creative holiday shopping. Or, you know, treat yourself.

Classics
Every Monday in December, The Byrd is screening classic Christmas movies. They’re kicking things off this week with National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, then moving on to Home Alone, Die Hard, White Christmas and more. This seems like a chill, fun, affordable night.
A stunning theatre, The Byrd just had their new seats installed. Grab some friends, pre-game with hot chocolate at Sugar & Twine, pay your $4 ticket, and tuck in for some festive nostalgia.
